Job Description
At E Source, we help utilities make sense of complexity in a rapidly changing landscape, and we're looking for a Business Systems & Integrations Manager to help shape how that impact shows up in the enterprise platforms behind everything we do.
E Source is a research, data and analytics, and technology-focused professional services firm focused exclusively on the utility industry in North America. We help utilities target and serve their customers more effectively, enhance and optimize their grid, and leverage operating best practices and technologies to manage their business more effectively. Headquartered in Texas, we have 450+ employees across the US and Canada. Learn more at www.esource.com.
As the Business Systems & Integrations Manager, you'll own the health, evolution, and interoperability of the enterprise application stack that powers our lead-to-invoice business process. You'll be the connective tissue between business functions and technology, ensuring NetSuite, Salesforce, Jira/Tempo, SPP, Paycom, and Marketo operate as one coherent, well-integrated platform.
This role is a fit for a leader who blends systems architecture, process design, project leadership, and trusted business partnership, and who can translate fluently between business stakeholders and technical teams.
In this role, you will:
Document and maintain authoritative knowledge of core enterprise system data flows, integration points, and dependencies across Salesforce, Jira/Tempo, SPP, NetSuite, and Marketo
Maintain a current architecture map of the lead-to-invoice workflow, including data ownership, system-of-record decisions, and known failure modes
Establish governance and change-control practices for system and integration changes
Direct internal resources and external vendors to execute system configurations, customizations, and integration builds across the core stack
Guide integration design and middleware decisions (APIs, iPaaS, point-to-point) with an eye toward maintainability and scale
Ensure quality, testing rigor, and clear documentation for every change
Lead projects for new integrations supporting new or evolving business processes, as well as material changes to existing ones
Drive prioritization, scoping, resourcing, and delivery against business commitments
Communicate status, risk, and trade-offs clearly to executive stakeholders
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Delivery, PMO, and Operations leaders to understand workflows and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency
Translate business requirements into pragmatic system designs and automations
Drive change management and adoption for new capabilities
Partner with the VP of AI and Emerging Technology to identify, pilot, and scale AI-powered features within the business application stack, including AI-assisted sales operations, finance operations, and agentic workflows
You're likely a great fit if you:
Partner naturally with business leaders and translate fluently between business and technology
Bring strong judgment to scope, sequencing, and trade-off decisions when priorities and timelines shift across multiple systems
Communicate clearly with executive stakeholders and technical teams, and prefer plain language over jargon
Care about documentation, governance, and the long-term maintainability of what you build
Move comfortably between architecture, project leadership, and hands-on configuration work
And even better if you:
Have hands-on experience with iPaaS tools such as Celigo or MuleSoft
Have worked in a professional services, consulting, or other multi-stakeholder environment
Have applied AI tools to enterprise SaaS workflows in sales, finance, or operations
Experience and Skills to Qualify Include:
A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in enterprise business systems, including three or more years in a leadership role
Deep knowledge of NetSuite
Strong working knowledge of Salesforce, Marketo, and PSA tools such as SPP and Jira/Tempo
Demonstrated experience designing and managing integrations across CRM, ERP, marketing automation, and PSA platforms
Proven track record managing vendors, implementation partners, and cross-functional projects
Working familiarity with AI applications in enterprise SaaS environments
Excellent communication and executive stakeholder management skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, business, or an equivalent body of professional experience
At E Source, you'll work alongside people who are thoughtful, curious, and deeply knowledgeable about utility and energy systems. We value clarity over jargon, substance over flash, and collaboration over ego. You'll have the opportunity to grow your skills, contribute to meaningful work, and help shape a company that plays a real role in how the energy future unfolds.
What you can expect
Excellent insurance options, including medical, dental, and vision plans; company-paid life insurance; company-paid long- and short-term disability insurance; medical and dependent-care flexible spending plans; and paid parental leave.
A flexible time off (FTO) policy that provides paid time away from work, approved by your manager, while ensuring business needs, workload commitments, and appropriate coverage are maintained.
A 401(k) plan with a 3% employer match.
The budgeted salary for this position is $140,000–$170,000 USD + annual bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
This role is remote, with minimal travel (likely 1-2 times per year).
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US. We're unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
