The position will perform routine work in the operations and maintenance of water and sewer collection and distribution facilities. Assist in installing and repairing pumps, valves, comminutor grinders, and motors. Perform semiskilled preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance repairs on pumps, pressure regulating and level control valves, generators, piping, meters, comminutors, and valves. Operate and use technical and mechanical equipment such as mowers, flushing equipment, pump alignment tools and other equipment utilized in water and sewer utility operations and maintenance.

Requirements: Graduation from high school. Basic mechanical experience is preferred. Work in an outdoor environment, perform labor intensive task. Be available to work "on-call" status. Work overtime as required to carry out job responsibilities and duties.
