Our client, a leader in aerospace and defense technology, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be part of the Research and Development department supporting innovative projects within the Mission Systems Division. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent collaboration skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $55-58 + Benefits
What's the Job?
- Coordinate and execute product design activities in accordance with project cost and schedule constraints.
- Develop conceptual designs into mature product solutions for aerospace applications.
- Manage technical risks through comprehensive identification and mitigation strategies.
- Develop engineering standards and design guides to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including suppliers, test engineers, and project managers to develop systems and products.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in system, product design, development, or production problem resolution.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks 3D CAD and understanding of GD&T standards.
- Experience with aerospace new product introduction methods and high-pressure pneumatic or hydraulic systems.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; familiarity with ITAR regulations is required.
