WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Administer and maintain Salesforce across CRM and Education Cloud environments which includes configuring objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, flows, and automation; and managing user access, roles, profiles, permission sets, and data security.
- Ensure platform stability, scalability, and alignment with enterprise architecture.
- Lead data quality initiatives through audits, reporting, and automation.
- Manage data imports/exports and deduplication processes (e.g., Data Loader, DemandTools).
- Monitor storage, capacity, and system performance.
- Define, build, and maintain reports and dashboards to support operational and strategic decision-making; partner with stakeholders to identify KPI’s and reporting requirements; and leverage analytics to drive data-informed improvements.
- Manage deployments across environments and support release management processes.
- Participate in and contribute to Salesforce governance structure and roadmap planning.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases and proactively assess impact; communicate upcoming changes, features, and enhancements across the organization.
- Research, recommend, and manage AppExchange solutions.
- Support integrations with third-party systems and vendor tools.
- Provide day-to-day support for Salesforce users and systems including supporting onboarding and enablement of new users; drive adoption and ensure a consistent user experience across all departments.
- Work closely with business analysts, developers, QA, product owners, and business teams in an Agile environment; participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Assume additional responsibilities as required.

WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED
BA/BS degree (or equivalent experience and certification)
At least 10 years of experience as a system administrator, at least 4 years within a Salesforce environment.
Must have a Salesforce Certified Administrator certification.
Must have system administration experience in all functions such as EDA, user management, profiles, roles, permissions, rules, assignment rules, queues, licenses, case management, and capacity and storage management of an enterprise platform (preferably Salesforce).
Experience working in Agile Development Methodology. Understanding of scrum, sprinting, stories, pointing, ceremonies, and engagement with Product Owner.
Experience with project management tools, like JIRA.
Exposure to Salesforce apps such as Conga, Demand Tools, and Form Builder
Must have experience administering enterprise CRM systems, managing projects, and leading process.
Ability to learn new systems as a system administrator quickly.
Ability to work one-on-one with customers from all levels of the organization.
Must be comfortable delivering end user training; as well as experience creating documentation and training materials.
Familiarity with standard Salesforce objects and best practices on their usage – Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Campaigns, Cases, Reporting and Dashboards, etc.
Must have a good understanding and usage Salesforce reports, views, workflow rules, approval processes, validation rules, record types, and page layouts.
Must have strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to bring an enterprise perspective to solution design and problem-solving.
Ability to envision and propose new methods to perform tasks that support ET&A; take thoughtful risks; and accept new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results.
Ability to anticipate and embrace change; demonstrate willingness to achieve, acquire, and utilize new skills and challenging tasks; and is flexible in changing conditions.
HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK
Possible nights and/or weekend work during deployments.
Requires work onsite a minimum of 3 days a week; the on-campus requirement is subject to modification based on organizational need.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS YOU MAY HAVE
- Previous experience in higher education a plus.
- Additional Salesforce Certifications preferred.
This is an exempt position with the following pay range: $115,184 - $127,982; the role is also eligible for bonuses based on performance and budget.
