Description A growing global aerospace manufacturing company is seeking a Sr. Process Engineer in Kent, OH to drive process optimization, solve complex manufacturing challenges, and support cutting-edge production operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a results-driven team with strong internal promotion opportunities, international customer exposure, long employee tenure, and hands-on involvement in advanced web handling, coating, laminating, embossing, and wide web printing processes. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Sr. Process Engineer position include: Senior-level candidates preferred with 5+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing or production environment. Lead process optimization, cycle time reduction, equipment utilization, EHS performance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Support new product development, process scale-up, refinement, release to manufacturing, and feasibility studies. Develop and maintain process maps, FMEAs, control plans, project summaries, test results, and status updates. Use SPC, 8D problem-solving methodologies, root cause analysis, and ISO 9000 or similar quality systems to support technical decisions. Work with web handling, converting papers and sheeted plastics, coating, laminating, embossing rolled goods, wide web printing, digital inkjet, rotary screen, wallpaper, flooring, and airplane interior products. Support equipment design, modification, installation, validation, and process improvements across 2-4 machines or processes. Partner with Engineering, Technology, Sales, Quality, and Manufacturing teams while maintaining eligibility for required U.S. export authorizations, including ITAR/EAR. Salary: $100,000 - $120,000+ per year, commensurate with experience.
