Please review the following job description:

Manage death settlement offering. Provide direct guidance and oversight of Estate Advisors and other teammates who administer estates and certain interim and other trust accounts that are includible in a decedent's gross estate.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

List the major responsibilities generally associated with the role (5-7 major responsibilities with no more than 10) that an incumbent in this job is expected to accomplish. Please use numbers to separate each distinct responsibility.

1. Coach Estate Advisors and specialists to achieve success criteria; hire and recruit top talent.

2. Oversee acceptance of death settlement business with focus on risk, profitability, and retention of assets.

3. Monitor risk in death settlement accounts by identifying, escalating, and working to resolve any legal, regulatory, audit, compliance, or other issues.

4. Ensure estate and interim trust administration is as consistent as possible across the footprint, leveraging tools such as checklists and estate-and-interim-trust-related policies and procedures, and conducting peer reviews to assure quality.

5. Promote positive client experience, addressing escalated issues and engaging risk and other leaders as appropriate and identifying opportunities to retain assets inherited by beneficiaries.

6. Maintain and enhance policies and procedures related to the Will Vault and safekeeping of clients' estate planning documents.

7. Establish/maintain relationships with market and other leaders, soliciting their feedback, promoting teamwork, and collaborating on strategies to grow business.

The annual base salary for this position is $190,000 - $228,000

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

1. College degree or equivalent education, training, or work-related experience.

2. Significant experience in trust/estate administration.

3. 10+ years of managing complex fiduciary accounts.

4. Strong risk management and analytical ability.

5. Demonstrated capabilities to become an effective leader and manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Advanced professional degree preferred, license or designation (e.g. MBA, CFP, CPA, CTFA, or JD).
